The emergence of ComfyUI further solidified our resolve. In June 2024, MimicPC was officially launched, and by August, we had reached 10,000 users. Looking back at 2024, the AI model landscape witnessed significant milestones. At the beginning of the year, open-source image and video applications struggled to fully support AI art creation. However, the advent of powerful models like Flux, SD3, and Hunyuan, coupled with the maturation of the ComfyUI ecosystem, transformed the game. The flexibility, control, and customizability of open-source models became their defining strengths, offering a cost-effective solution for entrepreneurs and businesses alike. This led to the resurgence of the hybrid model, now embraced by professional creators and enterprises.
In the video domain, models such as CogVideoXăHunyuan Video and LTX Video ranked highly in blind - tests, demonstrating the rapid evolution of open - source models. This not only provides more opportunities for autonomous and creative endeavors but also reflects the dynamic nature of the AI community.
